<p>On 1st April 2014, I will be setting up an April Fools challenge for our UKCAW editors. The task is to put on as many artist stats pages an extra single titled 'My Shoes' including a performance table, cover art and music video relating to shoes. The performance table must include at least 8 weeks (therefore 8 rows and the row for the header). The artist stats page must also be included in the category My Shoes, or they won't count.
</p><p>Users must add as many My Shoes singles onto as many artist stats pages as they can, starting from 00:00 on 01/04/2014 to 23:59 on the same day. The user with the most My Shoes on artist stats pages wins. Obviously anyone who inputs the single out of the range stated above will not have that particular contribution counted.
</p><p>Note that this is only allowed for one day, 01/04/2014 and is only for the purpose of a practical joke. After the day has ended, the artist stats pages containing the My Shoes single (unless the artist <i>really has </i>a single called My Shoes, and I will check!) will be removed by me and any other users if they wish to help.

<p>This game involves me writing names of artists whose titles appear in a song's lyrics. You should guess what the tracks are by the artists mentioned and then it should build a picture of what the lyrics are and then you should have an idea of what the song is by the lyrics. The artist names are in order the lyrics are sung in the song. The song titles can allow numbers to letters e.g. Bound 2 can mean bound to etc. but songs such as Animal and Animals are different to each other. If an artist appears twice, it could be the same song title or 2 different songs by an artist. I may also use 2 or more different artists for the same song title to try and trick you!

<p>This game involves me putting in 2 or more artists or releases which have something in common that I have thought of, and players have to guess what it is. Of course, with everything, there is more than one thing in common, so you will be given points out of 10 for how good your guess is, 10 being the correct answer which I was thinking of.

<p>If you have played 365 before, you will have an idea of how to play.
</p><p>I would advise not playing until nearer the deadline (4:00PM on Sunday 29/12/2013), to achieve more accurate results.
</p><p>You must predict as many singles as you like that their positions for week ending 04/01/2014, 11/04/2013 and 18/01/2013 which, in total, must all add up to 2014 or less. If a single you predict charts on 2 or all of those weeks, then the positions the single was at on on those weeks are added to your score. If a predicted single does not chart on any week, it scores no points.

<p>The first UK Charts Archive Wiki Christmas Game of 2013. Predict chart performances of Christmas songs, and predict the Christmas No. 1.

<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Deadlines">Deadlines</span></h2>
<p>For Christmas Chart Run Predictions (not to be confused with the main game) you may predict the debut (or re-entry) position as well as its performance until it drops out. There is no official deadline for these predictions, but you may not predict a song after its entry into the Top 100 or Top 40 in the Chart Update.
For predicting the Christmas No. 1, you have until Wednesday 25/12/2013 4:00PM (Christmas day) to predict the song.
</p>
<h2><span class="mw-headline" id="Scoring">Scoring</span></h2>
<p>The scoring for predicting the chart runs works very similar to the Chart Run Predictions Game, except you are allowed to predict the debut or re-entry of the singles. A correct match is worth 500 points and each position out is 10 points off 500. or example, predicting song X to be at 63 on its 12th week when it actually ends on 80 awards the player 330 points, because the player was 17 positions out, which is 10 times 17 (170) and 500 take away 170 is 330. If you predict the single to drop out too early, each week it stays in the Top 100 is -20 off your total score. Also, if the single drops out before you predict it to dropout, each extra week you predicted it to stay in the top 100 is -20 off your score.
</p><p>Once the single has entered the Top 100 or Top 40 Chart Update, you may not change your predictions for that single.
</p><p>You do not have to be exact on the actual week, for example, predicting song X to debut at 78 on 14/12/2013 when it actually debuts at 78 on 07/12/2013 still awards 500 points.
</p><p>Predicting the correct Christmas No. 1 awards 1000 points. If you predict an incorrect No. 1 which is in the Top 100, you get 10 off 1000 for each position out. You may also do a chart run prediction for the Christmas No. 1.

<p>To celebrate 365 days of the UK Charts Archive Wiki (formely UK Singles Chart Wiki), I have made this game which will run until this Sunday. To play, you can choose any number of singles which their position numbers on Sunday (week ending 12/10/2013) must all add up equal or be less than 365. You can predict any song, but if you pick a song that you assume to be on the top 100 next week and it isn't, you won't score any points for it. The winner is whoever gets the closest to 365 (or matches it).

<p>Test your knowledge on song titles, artists and albums. This game involves being randomly chosen different letters and then adjusting them as little as you can to form a song, artist or album title, whether or not it has charted.

</p><p>Example </p><p>Letters chosen: 7 (140 starting points) </p><p>X V P C K Z Y </p><p>Adjusted phrase: OWLCITY </p><p>Changing X to O is 9, V to W is 1, P to L is 4, C is not adjusted so is 0, K to I is 2, T to Z is 6, and Y is not adjusted so is 0. The total points taken away is 22, so 140-22 is 118. </p>
- Choose the amount of letters you want your title to have. It can be any amount of letters but with a minimum of 4. The more letters you choose, the higher potential score you can have. You can separate the letters up for words anywhere in the phrase after your letters are randomly picked. For example, THEBLACKEYEDPEAS can be separated to THE BLACK EYED PEAS.
- For each letter, pick a random number from 1 to 26. The outcome is a letter of the alphabet, where 1 is A and 26 is Z. Do this for all chosen letters.
- Now it's the adjusting part. You will most likely end up with a random string of letters which don't resemble any song, artist or album. Some letters may have to be adjusted by the number of positions in the alphabet. The more positions adjusted, the less points you will end up with. Not adjusting a letter means no points are taken away. Not adjusting any letters awards twice the starting score (see further on). For example, changing an X to a T takes 4 points away from your total, and changing an F to an A takes 5 points away. You can also swap the position of a letter in the phrase with another letter, but this move costs you 25 points.

- Use the Random Number Generator
- Pick a number from 1 to 27.
- The number corresponds to a letter of the alphabet (a is 1 and z is 26, and numbers/symbols etc. are 27)
- Then go to the List of Artists page for your letter/number page.
- Pick a random number again out of the number of artists pages there are on that for that letter.
- The random number represents one of those artists on that page (the top most one is 1 etc.)
- Go to that artist's page and count how many singles they have (if they have more than 1, otherwise that is the single you have got)
- The other player does the same steps, and the players decide who gets first call.
- Player 1 chooses a category from the list below:
- Peak
- Weeks on top 10/40/100
- Biggest climb/fall
- Highest debut
- Biggest dropout

- The song or artist must have charted on the top 200 UK Singles Chart.
- Underscores (_) represent letters, and stylisation etc. are ommited (e.g. Kesha not Ke$ha). Slashes (/) represent word spacing. Numbers are allowed as well as other punctuation marks such as & and ?.
- You can guess a single letter or a whole phrase, but you should only guess the whole phrase when you think you know it.
